Robert Clark
Bass Player/Band Leader
Robert is based out of northern Lunenburg County. He studied Jazz at St Francis Xavier Unversity where he got to study under Skip Beckwith for four years. After graduating the ST FX Jazz program, Rob has had the pleasure of performing on stages all across Nova Scotia from Yarmouth to Sydney as well as Internationally, with such artists as; Catahoula Brown, JD Clarke, Patricia Watson, John Bird, Lisa Lelliott, Kim Albert, Lawrence Patzer, Joyce Seamone, Tom Myers, Mike Watson, Katrein and Matt Anderson. Rob has also played with such groups as the Clas Larson Quartet, the Big Band Refugees, Smoke n Mirrors, Standard Time, Stolen Tones, the South Shore Jazz Quartet, Jazzette and the Backroom Blues Band to name a few.

Gary Sallans
Lead Guitar
Gary grew up listening to groups like Pink Floyd, Led Zepplen , the Beatles, Cat Stevens and Jimmy Hendrix which lead him to learn Guitar at the young age of 14. In his 20’s Gary switched direction from Rock to that of Classical Guitar, eventually making the transition into Jazz. Based out of Bridgewater, NS Gary is a private music instructor who has taught Guitar to numerous students over the years.
He has performed with various groups such as; Smoke and Mirrors, the Big Band Refugees, and the Clas Larson Quartet. With these groups, he has had the pleasure of performing with artists such as; Patricia Watson, Dave Skinner, Mike Watson, John Bird, Tom Myers, Clas Larsson, Rob Clark and Jordi Comstock. All of these individuals have had a large influence on his musical development over the years. Gary has always loved performing and learning music; “Who would ever think you could get a lifetime of interest and joy from 6 strings and a piece of wood, the power of music is a wonderful thing.” |

Michael WatsonTenor SaxBorn in Wolfville, raised in Port Williams and a graduate of Acadia University, Michael Watson has been a student of music since first picking up his Dad's old guitar or sitting at his Mom's piano as a young lad. He has been both a performer and teacher of music ever since. He has performed as both saxophonist and pianist with many groups both big and small as well as on numerous recordings.
